Congratulations to all of you - for those of you aren't familiar with this drawing, we have an Annual "Early Bird" Program where you can pay $25.00 during the three (3) months of July, August and September. You can save $5.00 by paying by 30 September of each year. Many members paid the normal $30.00 for the Early Bird. This means the Post receives $5.00 extra which is a nice gesture. However, I have been trying to figure out a way to return that $5.00. Writing a $5.00 check is way too much work. We had 36 members who paid $5.00 each which came to $180.00 divided by 36 was 7.2. We drew 7 names shown above, and they will receive a free 2011 membership card. The cards will not be available until late June after the Convention , but the winners, please do not send in your early bird payments. Again, congratulations and maybe everybody might want to get it on the chance to get the freebie by remitting $30.00 during the Early Bird period. It's like paying $5.00 for a raffle ticket for next year's free membership.

Let's hope that everybody understands the Early Bird Program - already had one member that entered the drawing and took out the $5.00 for an Early Bird this year. The Early Bird costs $25.00 - you are an Early Bird. Those that pay $30.00 - the extra $5.00 pays for your entry in a free 2012 membership card during the Xmas Party drawing. If you don't win a free membership card, you gave us the $5.00 to enter you in the drawing. Last year, we drew 7 names out of the barrel. I issued 7 free cards on 4 Jul 2010 and sent them out on the 1st transmittal.
Right now we can draw 5 names - if they keep coming in like the last few days, we may be able to draw 20 names - beautiful.
